Conor Ellis – Director

His global experience brings transferable best practice from many years of consultancy in 32 countries including many of the largest and most complex projects with a value of some €30+billion. Prior to moving into consultancy Conor worked for several years in operational and strategic management healthcare roles which reinforces his knowledge of improving healthcare efficiency, design and strategy through to operational commissioning to audit, diligence reporting and expert witness roles.

He has led the work on several award-winning hospital projects, with his team twice winning technical advisor of the year and best designed healthcare facility. This has included multiple ICU and Theatre complexes up to 26 theatres in a single project. He is also one of the authors of the NHS playbook governance on facility design.  He delivered one of the 1st digital theatre complexes nearly 20 years ago, the 1st Elective care centres in 2005, and the 1st 100% single hospital design and has been at the forefront of innovation.

He has contributed to national toolkits, including detailed design reviews on major projects.

He has advised the UAE Ministry of Health, Qatar Ministry of Health, UK DH, UK Treasury and Government Property Unit on improving health efficiency, particularly the use of assets, and has delivered lectures and articles on the subject worldwide. He is the lead author of several reports on improving healthcare outcomes with significant international media coverage.

His projects have included many of Europe’s largest and complex including Karolinska Sweden, UCLH, UHB, St James Dublin,  Manchester Hospitals, Newcastle Hospitals and UHNM, St Helens, South Manchester elective care, West Birmingham Treatment centre, projects in Canada, Australia, Germany and the Middle East. Conor led the Hamad Medical City team  undertaking all facets of health delivery of a new campus site to  operation. Additionally he has worked on more than 50 major community hubs and several Elective care centres involving multiple stakeholders and geographies.

Cian Walkington-Ellis – Consultant

Cian began his career in Health Planning in  2021. His experience covers support roles in healthcare planning and project management support, stakeholder engagement, estate master planning, design interfaces, business case writing, schedules of accommodation and clinical engagement.

From single NHS organisations to national programmes and international hospitals he has provided weekly reporting for the NHS and the HSE.

His projects include Sheffield Children’s Hospital educational facility, Cork University Hospitals, Waterford Hospital, Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Leighton Hospital Redevelopment Programme British Colombia, Greater Glasgow and Clyde whole system reconfiguration and the New hospitals Programme for NHSE.

Guy Hamilton – Associate Data Analyst

Guy is a consultant with 26 years’ experience of leading analytics projects within the NHS and abroad, grounded by 4 years as a senior manager in an acute hospital. He is a proven all-round problem solver with formidable analytical skills.

His key areas of focus include activity and capacity modelling solutions, population health management, service reconfiguration modelling, drive time modelling and mapping, demand management and performance , demographics, service reviews, option appraisals, risk and sensitivity analysis, scenario modelling, admissions avoidance benchmarking, waiting list modelling, data mining (SQL,excel, Access and specialist software).

In Ireland his work has included various whole hospital activity and capacity planning models produced to forecast future capacity requirements.  He has worked with  Kerry, Cork, Waterford, Clonmel.

In the UK his scheme list includes Mid Cheshire, North Manchester, Portsmouth, Worcester, St Helens  UHNM,  &  Newcastle including sophisticated models to map acuity and arrival distribution. Geof Beasley – Associate

Geof is a specialist health planner with expertise across public and private healthcare, combining clinical planning, project management, and architectural insight.

He has led projects from strategic stages through to operational commissioning, with a focus on models of care, clinical briefs, and schedules of accommodation.

Geof also delivers estate strategies, masterplans, and surveys. A qualified HMT Five Case Model Practitioner, he brings deep experience across acute, primary, and mental health care environments
